KO WAI MĀTOU | WHO ARE WE
Welcome to the Pare Hauraki Native Nursery, an iwi-led, native plant nursery located on Queen Street in Thames. Our mission is to provide high-quality native plants to support restoration and ecological enhancement projects in the region.
We are proud to work with the Moehau project team to replant and revitalise our tupuna maunga, while also creating employment, education, and cultural revitalisation opportunities for our people. Our eco-sourced seeds are carefully selected from the Thames, Coromandel and Hauraki Districts, ensuring that our plants are well suited to the local environment.
Whether you are working on a small or large project, we have a wide range of native plants available for sale. By sourcing plants through us, you will be supporting a local Māori-owned business, building strong relationships with iwi and mana whenua, and undertaking your planting projects with eco-sourced plans.
Visit us today to learn more about our native plants and how we can help with your restoration projects. Together, we can make a positive impact on our environment and our community.
